I am so sorry that I have been away from my little blog this week!

I have been busting my tail with this...
TEAAAAACHINGGGGG!!!!
First grade is challenging!!
We are in it to win it & I hit the ground running with this group!
I feel like a beginning teacher in that I haven't started first grade in a while & I was driving myself crazy with where to begin, what to do, how to do it, etc...
So I did a lot of crazy stuff~ like this~
They were getting their supplies out soooooo slow. So, to speed things along I had them stand in their chairs when they were ready to learn. That got things moving a little quicker! Ha!
I know that this week will go MUCH smoother because I feel like I'm getting in the groove of it now!
I hope to post more this week so please don't jump ship just yet!!

Haha, love the kids in chairs. There's one big benefit to 1st grade, because I think if you asked beginning of the year kindergartners to do that they'd totally lose it! Hope you have a great week!
