All Bundled Up!

I have had many requests to bundle my FIRST GRADE math journals & my writing journals!

I FINALLY got it all done & ready to go!

These are my monthly writing journals...
There are 20 fun & motivating writing prompts to get kids excited about writing!
I don't know about you, but I take every opportunity I can to get my students pumped up to write!!
These little journals are just the trick!! :)

Next up are my BEST SELLING math journals!
I originally made these for my kindergarteners & they were such a big hit that I made them this year to use with my FIRSTIES!
You can find the Kindergarten bundle here...

Anyway, I received such positive feedback from the K set that I decided to also make a FIRST GRADE set & they are just as popular!!
I thank all of you for that!

I use these daily as a quick little warm up before my math lesson & it gets my kiddos all ready to go for math! They LOVE them!!

I am putting ALL of my BUNDLES on sale just for you until Monday! Go over & take advantage of the savings!! :)

I hope that everyone had a great school year!
I am down to 4 MORE DAYS!!

Poetry Anyone?

So, yeah...it's been a while since I have been here and I am so sorry to leave you high & dry!
Testing at my school has been CUH-RAY-ZEEEEEE!!
I am finally starting to see the light at the end of the testing tunnel....
But, I'm here now & today I'm talking poetry!!
Yay!
I was convinced that I would HATE teaching the poetry unit to my firsties, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I taught them shape poems, 5 senses poems, poems where all the lines begin the say way, etc...
By the end of the unit I decided to surprise my cuties with their VERY.OWN.POETRY.BOOKS!!
I thought some of them would pass out from the excitement!
I promise, ya'll, it was seriously not that fancy...
Here is a little snippet of how they looked...sorry I didn't snap more pics!
Here is the girl version...they are only half sheet of paper sized so I can get more bang for my paper usage!
 Here is the boy version.
Some of my pages had a picture to inspire the poem...this one was popular with all of the students!
"Ahhhh
The Green Eye!
Attack!
My baby!
Ahhhhh"
I love this one! :)
Some of the pages had titles for inspiration & they had to add the illustration.
"Delilah
kind friend
sweet person
hard worker"
This one was cute...
"Bat woman
can fly
part bat
cool character
so cool and a super hero"

So, there is a little poetry fun from my cute little firsties! Like I said, everything was made on 1/2 sheets of paper so that I could save on my paper & copies. Also, I think that there was plenty of room for their poems so it worked out great & I couldn't be happier with how they turned out! :)
