Today was my last workday & my summer has officially begun!
Woo Hoo!!
I spent the whole day moving all my junk stuff into my new FIRST GRADE classroom!
I am so excited to be looping with my cuties from this year.
Here is the question that I have for you...can anyone point me to some good back to school for FIRST GRADE packets for my new adventure? I was going to make some stuff, but I have no idea of where to even begin. So, I am just going to by some stuff to get me started. Please leave me a comment if you know of some good units/packets/etc that I can check on on TpT or TN to start my year off. Remember that I am in a year-round school so I will be back in there in 4 weeks!!
Also- should I change my blog name?
What should I change it to?
How do I change it without losing my blog-world friends?
Should I just leave it alone & quit being psycho?

I'm torn on the blog change just because it says kinder kids. Are you returning back to kinder the following year? If so, I wouldn't change it. Good luck. You will have a great 2nd year with them and expect a lot of tears at the end.

I don't know if I'll go back to K or not. What if I fall in love with 1st like everyone is telling me I will?
Oh no, I didn't even think about the tears at the end of the 2nd year together! There is so much for me to think about!!

Jen I was just having this conversation with some friends last night. I'm moving to 1st next year also but I'm going to keep my blog name. 1st grade is not that far away from K! I'll probably just put in my description somewhere that I'm in 1st for the year. :)
Hey Jen! I love all of Babbling Abby's and Cara Carroll's first grade resources! If you want to change your blog name, you can still keep the same url and just change the title in your layout so it could say something about first without losing your whole blog. (Hope that makes sense:) Have a wonderful time looping! I did that last year and LOVED it. My students who are now going to be 3rd graders still visit me every morning and I have to push them out the door when the bell rings, ha! They'll want to have you forever!
