Handwriting Font Question

Hi Blog Friends!
One of the things that I want to work on in my classroom next year is handwriting. We do have a little handwriting program, but it is a tad boring for the kids. I want to make some stuff on my own that my kids will like...Here's where you come in...

I have looked everywhere for some handwriting fonts that have dots or dashes to trace and I also want the bubble font that the kids can trace inside of to practice the letter. Does anyone know where I can get these fonts? PLEASE HELP! I promise that I will share the stuff I make! :)

  4. Quicksand Dash could possibly work, but there's not much spacing between the dashes like you probably expect. It should be free. Just Google it!

  6. Hi Jen! I just posted some handwriting pages in my TPT store. We have fonts for teachers at my school and I use it to make things for my classroom. There is also a "bubble letters" font that is free somewhere on the web! Hope that helps!!!

  8. How funny, I asked the same question to Tammy over at Live, Love, Laugh Everyday in Kindergarten. She told me she uses one called LD Trainer from lettering delights. It is about $14 though to get the commercial license. Thanks for the sweet words on my blog this morning!!

  9. I am doing the same thing next year. Handwriting for our kids is HORRIFYINGLY bad. And I take responsibility for not doing a good job of teaching it well. I use Lettering Delights LD Trainer on my stuff.

I'm also your newest follower! Check out my manly blog and we can collaborate on some handwriting ideas!

  10. I have used several of the fonts at the following site. Mainly because we've switched from D'Nealian to manuscript and the site kind of had a free version of both. http://desktoppub.about.com/od/freefonts/tp/Free_Handwriting_School_Fonts.htm
